We are Labels is a modern Retail concept for men and women. Founded in 2010 as a small boutique in Amsterdam, we started with a mission to put independent brands in the spotlight with an emphasis on authenticity and craftsmanship. Today, We Are Labels remains true to its vision with the addition of 10 stores throughout the Netherlands and Belgium.

We believe that good design doesn't have to come at the expense of our customers or the planet. Our curated selection of clothing and apparel focuses on exquisite quality and sustainable practices to deliver a timeless and conscious collection. 2024 will have a new focus where we transition from a Multi Brand entity to more of a wholesale organization. In this transition, brand identity will be a big area of attention, growing organically with our own brands: Nous Sommes Labels, WAL, and NSL. 

The head office of We Are Labels is located in the red light district in Amsterdam. The team has a total of more than 90 enthusiastic employees with an average age of 27. The head office of We Are Labels employs a total of 12 people.

Job Description

We are looking for someone to lead the online team with a fresh view and entrepreneurial mentality. For you, failure is not an option and all things digital excite you. Get the chance to implement your vision, broader than just online. We are aiming to find someone with a proven ambition, ready to take ownership of our online shop and continue to build our brand in an organic way. 

You know what’s necessary to optimize our online shopping experience for B2C and B2B customers by further digitalization and implementation of optimizing strategies. You will achieve determined online targets by analyzing the KPI’s and evaluating the online customer journey. You ensure that all this is developed and executed in a structured, analytical, and result-driven way. We also work with an online marketing agency, which you will oversee.

Responsibilities

You will manage the online business of We Are Labels and online shop of wearelabels.com. This includes all daily tasks of running an online business: being responsible for the optimization of different KPI’s on the website, such as generating traffic, online marketing activities, and analyzing data on customer behavior and conversion. You will be managing a small team where analytical skills & a go-getter mentality are essential for this role.

-Plan, manage, and carry out weekly tasks with team;

-Manage operations of the webshop;

-Analyze, define, and execute content- and campaign strategies;

-Responsible for reaching online targets, realizing organic and steady growth, and further KPI’s;

-Create & oversee online commercial calendar, give input to company’s commercial calendar;

-Focus on CRM and growing this network;

-Head the online transition from a multi brand store to own brand with a focus on brand identity;

- Analyze data & reports to inform commercial decisions;

-Daily communications with internal and external partners;

-Responsible for all online communications, ensuring this is streamlined with the company direction & strategy, as well as all marketing plans. This needs to support the expectations of the customer whilst moving the company forward with the business goals in mind.

-Understand We Are Labels customers through data, research insights, and internal stakeholders to create a successful journey to conversion.

Are you ready to get on board and set the course?

You are a proactive personality with an ambitious mindset. You enhance the online customer journey and are able to find the right balance between commercial & brand image/ positioning. In addition, you are comfortable bringing the sales funnel into practice and continuously look at optimizing different features within this funnel. You are the leader of testing and optimizing the website flow, and are the go-to contact person for the online department. You will report directly to our founder. To be considered for this role you have a proven entrepreneurial mentality where getting things done and trying out new things is key.

- Preferably WO educated;

- 1-3 years of experience in E-Commerce;

- Excellent in English (Dutch is a plus);

- Team player, comfortable manager, and strong analytical eye;

- Take ownership & initiative with an out of the box scale-up mentality.

- Significant knowledge with the online customer journey;

- Basic knowledge of online logistics;

- Comfortable with platforms such as Meta, Google Analytics, Shopify and Klaviyo;

- Experience with CRM is a plus.
